Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Becoming: Unapologetically HER 2.0, operated by Romona Adams / RD Adams Enterprises (“we,” “us,” “our”), collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit romonaadams.com, purchase our products, or use the HER Circle membership and the Becoming Planner (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. Your name and email (when you subscribe to our newsletter, contact us, or create an account); your email for sign-in (we use a secure “magic link” / one-time code rather than storing passwords); and your membership status. When you buy something, payment is handled by our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.
Your journaling & profile content. The Becoming Planner saves your entries — and any profile photo you add — in your own browser’s local storage on your device. In the current version, this private writing stays on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
HER Companion (AI). When you message the AI journaling companion, the text you send is transmitted to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a response. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal details you would not want processed for that purpose.
Automatically collected. Basic technical data such as device and browser type, general location, pages viewed, and similar usage information, plus essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the Service.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the Service — deliver your downloads, run your membership, and operate the planner and community.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To send you emails you asked for (receipts, newsletter, support replies).
- To maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve the Service.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the Service, each under their own privacy terms:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Supabase — secure account sign-in and private file storage for purchased downloads.
- Anthropic — powers the AI journaling companion.
- Resend — sends transactional and newsletter emails (when enabled).
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to make the Service work. We do not use cookies to sell your data. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
5. Data retention
We keep account and purchase information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. Journaling content stored on your device remains until you clear it from your browser.
6. Your choices & rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and — depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA) — you may have additional rights. To make a request, email us at the address below and we’ll respond as required by law.
7. Children
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes may be highlighted on the Service.
